A 1960s version of the 17th Century Tartuffe  by Moliere. A classic comedy about the antics of the fraud Tartuffe who wins the trust of Orgon, a property-owning French man. Orgon, duped by the false piety of the penniless Tartuffe, begins to find himself in a tough situation.
